Aldactone (Spironolactone)

Aldactone (Spironolactone) is a diuretic drug intended for the rapid elimination of excess fluid from the body.

Dosage

Aldactone is usually applied on the eve of sports events to improve the athlete's physical fitness. The standard dosage is 100 milligrams, the course of application is 3-5 days. Reception is carried out in the morning. If therapy includes a combination of several diuretics, the dose should be selected individually.

For women, the drug can be used as an androgen blocker, in this case, the dosage is 25-75 milligrams, the duration of the course is 1-2 weeks.

Side effects

The list of adverse body reactions to Aldactone is quite large. It:

the growth of deformed breast tissue in men (gynecomastia);
intestinal cramps, diarrhea;
drowsiness;
pain in the head;
itching, burning of the skin, various rashes;
disturbance of consciousness;
erectile disfunction;
coordination disorders;
failure of menstruation;
active manifestation of secondary sexual characteristics in men;
antiandrogenic effect.

 

Effects of taking

Due to the rapid increase in the concentration of the active substance in the athlete's blood, excess fluid is removed from the body, and the drugs administered are better absorbed and leave the body no slower.
